Peter T. Leung was born in Manhattan and raised in the Woodside Houses in Queens. He now lives in Garrison, New York, with his wife and three children.

His debut novel, Tiny Vessels, is about what we build to prove we existed, and what it costs the people standing near us while we build. Narrated through a dual timeline moving between contemporary Hudson Valley and 1993 Queens, it tracks the final months of a developer whose body and whose building are failing along the same structural logic. The novel has been nearly two decades in the making.

His first nonfiction book, Character Grade, co-authored with May Leung, is forthcoming from Schiffer Publishing in 2027. Part memoir and part technical handbook, the book chronicles the process of serving as their own general contractor on an architect-designed home in Garrison.

Peter is a graduate of the University at Buffalo and New York University School of Law, and practices law in New York.
